What Argylle: Secret Agent is about
Bryce Dallas Howard is Elly Conway, the author of a series of spy novels, whose idea of happiness is spending the night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books focusing on secret agent Argylle and her mission to unravel a global spy syndicate begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organization, quiet nights at home Now they are things of the past.


Accompanied by Aiden (Sam Rockwell), a spy allergic to cats, Elly (with Alfie in her backpack) travels the world to stay one step ahead of assassins as the line between Elly’s fictional world and the real one begins to blur.

The cast has Henry Cavill, John Cena, Ariana DeBose, Grammy-winning pop star Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Sofia Boutella and the legendary Samuel L. Jackson. Alfie is played by Chip, supermodel Claudia Vaughn’s real cat (Claudia Schiffer).
