In 2022, the last year of the long-term contract of HBO with the Hall, the ceremony took place in Los Angeles on November 5, but was not available for viewing on HBO and HBO Max until an edited special premiered two weeks later, on November 19. – actually a shorter gap than the three-week or more delay of previous years.
