Weekend plans: what can be fun to do in CABA?
Key Festival
The teenagers’ party arrives at the Recoleta Cultural Center and Plaza Francia. Organized and starring boys and girls from 13 to 17 years old, it will have more than 1,000 teenagers as protagonists and shows by Santiago Motorizado, Malena Villa and Blair among many others; talks with bookfluencers like Agustina Grimm Pitch and Victoria Resco, with activists like Mia Baccanelli, activist for body diversity; in addition to Rap freestyle tournaments; virtual reality activations and much more. Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Free.
Gospel Night
On Saturday, starting at 5 p.m., the 1st edition of Gospel Night arrives in the City, on Avenida 9 de Julio and Diagonal Norte, with free admission. The various cultural expressions related to the gospel genre will be celebrated, through singing and music. Artists from different musical genres, dance groups, improvisation theater, poetry, painting, publishing and a children’s space with plastic arts workshops will participate. In addition, there will be food trucks with cuisine for all tastes.

BA Nights
Brave Heart: tribute to Gilda
On Sunday at 5:30 p.m., the show Corazón Valiente, the Tribute to Gilda, will be held at the Parque Centenario Amphitheater (Leopoldo Marechal and Av. Lillo). Under the direction of Mr. Lito Vitale and with the presence of artists such as Hilda Lizarazu, Rocío Quiroz, Silvina Moreno and An Espil. Free entry with prior reservation.
International Literature Festival
Through Patronage, the City supports the 15th edition of FILBA until October 1, with free activities focused on literature, including interviews and live dialogues, workshops, readings, poetry recitals, performances, music, libraries open and more. Buenos Aires Celebrates
11 American communities will come together in a unique celebration on Avenida de Mayo at BA Celebra Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic, where they will share their stories and traditions. This Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Av. de Mayo between Bolívar and Chacabuco. ANIMAL 30th anniversary

Kurosawa, side A will take place from this Friday until Sunday, October 8 in the Leopoldo Lugones Room of the San Martín Theater (Av. Corrientes 1530). The cycle, which completes the Kurosawa program, side B made in 2021, is made up of eight of the most famous feature films directed by Akira Kurosawa, all of them in 35mm copies sent especially from Tokyo.

Green Film Fest: environmental film exhibition
BA Audiovisual accompanies a new edition of the Green Film Fest, an outstanding Argentine Environmental Film Festival organized by Green Tara Producciones and the Santander Foundation, which has support from Patronage. Dance: own world
The Contemporary Dance Workshop will present Mundo Proprio on Saturday at 6 p.m., in the Alfredo Alcón Hall of the San Martín Theater (Avenida Corrientes 1530), with free admission. First, second and third year students will offer a show of small pieces created from different techniques, styles and stories.

Food Festival
The event will offer the best dishes and new trends in local and international gastronomy. More than 30 brands in the industry will participate in the festival that will take place Saturday and Sunday at La Rural (Av. Santa Fe and Thames), from 12 to 8 p.m., with free entry. Also a play space for the little ones and DJ sets to provide music for the event.
Fairs, patios and markets
Sabe la Tierra will be established in Plaza Aristóbulo del Valle (Cuenca 2600) on Saturday, from 12 to 7 p.m. On Sunday it will be in three different parts of the City: in Plaza Ireland and Parque Saavedra, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and in Parque Las Heras, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is suspended in case of rain.
In addition, the patios of Los Lecheros, Parque Patricios, Rodrigo Bueno and Costanera Norte and the markets of Bonpland, Belgrano and San Nicolás offer a wide variety of dishes. Tickets for all proposals are free of charge.

Galileo Galilei Planetarium
There are guided tours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, at 11:30 and 16:30, with free entry and prior reservation. In addition, on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 8 p.m., the telescopes are taken out to observe the cosmos. The activity is free and on a first-come, first-served basis, with a capacity of up to 250 people.

Colon Theater
- The Merry Widow: After 12 years, the operetta in three acts with music by composer Franz Lehár and staging by Damiano Michieletto returned to the stage of the Teatro Colón. The musical direction is by maestro Jan Latham-Koenig at the head of the Stable Orchestra. Performances: Thursday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m.
