What is The Light You Can’t See about?
Based on the Pulitzer-winning novel, The light you can’t see is a groundbreaking miniseries that follows the story of Marie-Laure, a blind French teenager, and her father, Daniel LeBlanc, who escape the German occupation of Paris with a legendary diamond that they must hide from the Nazis. Relentlessly pursued by a cruel Gestapo officer who wants the diamond for his own gain, Marie-Laure and Daniel take refuge in St. Malo with a hermit uncle who helps the resistance with clandestine radio transmissions. But in this once-idyllic seaside town, Marie-Laure’s path inexorably collides with her most unlikely soul mate: Werner, a brilliant teenager recruited by the Hitler regime to track illegal transmissions.

The Light You Can’t See skillfully weaves the lives of Marie-Laure and Werner over the course of a decade and tells the story of the extraordinary power of human connection – a beacon that can guide us even in the darkest of times.
