The German rocker and his wife have a four-year-old daughter. The 74-year-old believes he is now at the right age to devote himself to his role as a father.
The 74-year-old German rocker Peter Maffay (“Du”, “Eiszeit”) thinks that now is exactly the right time to live his role as a father. “My time as a father has now really come,” Maffay told the German Press Agency in Berlin. “At my age, you’ve actually already accomplished a lot and then you have more time for children.”
That wasn’t the case before. “Now I don’t want to miss our daughter’s development.” Maffay and his wife Hendrikje Balsmeyer have a four-year-old daughter named Anouk. Maffay also has a son Yaris (19) from a previous marriage.
Tomorrow the third part (“Anouk and the Secret of Christmas”) of the children’s book series “Anouk”, which the couple publishes together, will be published.
