The American trombonist Robin Eubanksconsidered one of the best in the world, arrives this week in the City of Buenos Aires, where it will be presented this Friday and this Saturday at the Bebop Club.

There will be a total of four concerts on October 6 and 7 at 8 and 10:45 p.m. in septet format, accompanied by prominent Argentine musicians Mariano Loiacono on trumpet, Gustavo Musso and Sebastian Loiacono on saxophones, Ernesto Jodos on piano, Mauricio Dawid on double bass and Sergio Verdinelli on battery.
Eubanks is considered the leading jazz trombonist of his generation. Whether through his performances in his own groups, Mental Images or EB3, and with The SF Jazz Collective, Dave Holland Quintet/Big Band, he is an artist whose impact on audiences has proven to be powerful and lasting.
Eubanks’ compositions and arrangements were recorded by The Mingus Big Band, SF Jazz Collective, Dave Holland Quintet and Big Band, among others. Additionally, colleges and universities across the United States are performing Robin’s original works and have arranged and recorded her music for her ensembles. She has recorded nine albums as a leader and has contributed his talents to hundreds as a sideman.
