Emerging City

The Festival is coming that brings the best of the youth culture of the City and the entire country. It will be three days to enjoy the outdoors and discover new trends, with live music, visuals, urban culture, technology and much more. From this Friday at 4 to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Bosques de Palermo (in the former Velodrome and its surroundings, entering the property at Avenida Belisario Roldán 4400, behind the Planetarium). The opening show will be performed by Turf. Admission will be free.

Buenos Aires Celebrates the Regions

Norte, Cuyo, Patagonia, Centro and Litoral come to the City paying tribute to all Argentine provinces, through their local artists, regional foods and artisanal products. The musical closing of this day will be led by the great Chaqueño Palavecino. On Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. on Av. de Mayo, between Bolívar and Chacabuco.

The Night of the Rocks

On Saturday from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., with free admission, more than 40 peñas, music clubs, neighborhood spaces and folkloric centers will open their doors, on a night dedicated to spreading Argentine folklore tradition through dance and music.

National Final of Federal Rap Culture

After touring the country during 2023, the national final of Cultura Rap Federal, a Rap freestyle competition that was born at the Recoleta Cultural Center, arrives at the Vorterix Theater (Av. Federico Lacroze 3455) on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. with live shows by Clan Andrada (the new group led by DJ Zone), Stuart and Klan. The winner of the competition will receive 40,000 points for promotion to the FMS, the largest freestyle league. Free admission (entry will be on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is exhausted).

BA Celebrates France

CABA celebrates French culture with a day in which you can taste the signature dishes of its gastronomy such as crêpes, croissants, onion soup and croque madame. There will be musical shows by artists such as Agathe Ciprés, Hervé Segata and Les Mannivelles. On Saturday from 12 to 6 pm on Av. de Mayo (between Bolívar and Chacabuco).

Usine Electrique

Within the framework of the Non-Conventional Festival, held with the support of Patronage from the Ministry of Culture of the City, the Usine Electrique concert by the Swiss drummer, percussionist and composer Alexandre Babel will be presented for the first time in Argentina. The show will take place on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Banco Santander Foundation (Paseo Colón 1380), with free admission.

Youth Festival “Fantasy is a place”

The festival of new voices in art and urban culture, for young people and adolescents, will take place on Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Museo Moderno (Av. San Juan 350). There will be our exhibitions with music, book presentations, live VJ and workshop spaces by great guest artists who will share their concerns and show their creative processes.

11th Community Theater Meeting

It is carried out in various venues in the City, with the participation of groups from all over the country, with theater shows, puppets and concerts by community orchestras. On Sunday they perform at the 25 de Mayo Cultural Center (Av. Triunvirato 4444) Creer o Reventar at 6 p.m. and Grafa, Memoria de un Pueblo at 8 p.m.

Art, games and music for childhood

Saturday and Sunday the Usina del Arte (Agustín Caffarena 1, La Boca) offers different activities for children to stimulate their imagination and have fun with artistic workshops, musical shows and recreational spaces. “The Infinite Game” by Kalpataru will be presented, with music, nature, humor and fantastic characters; “Ghosts knock at the door and other funny stories” and La Estrella Mochilera with “Song Party”. Free, with prior reservation.

New illusions

The cycle is made up of the graduation works of the students of the 2023 Class of the Ariel Bufano Puppeteer Workshop-School, directed by Adelaida Mangani. It is composed of 16 short pieces for puppet and object theater, whose authors and directors are the graduates of this class. Performances: from Thursday to Sunday at 8 p.m. in the Cunill Cabanellas room of the San Martín Theater (Avda. Corrientes 1530). Free entrance.

CABA Tourism

Dance: own world

The Contemporary Dance Workshop presents Mundo propio this Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m., in the Alfredo Alcón Hall of the San Martín Theater (Avenida Corrientes 1530), with free admission. First, second and third year students will offer a show of small pieces created from different techniques, styles and stories.

People from my city

This Thursday, the Photo Gallery of the San Martín Theater (Avda. Corrientes 1530), the exhibition People of my city, was inaugurated, with images from the 24th edition of the traditional contest organized by Banco Ciudad. The exhibition can be visited until Sunday, November 5 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Free of charge.

Kurosawa, side A

It takes place until Sunday in the Leopoldo Lugones Room of the San Martín Theater (Av. Corrientes 1530). The cycle, which completes the Kurosawa program, side B made in 2021, is made up of eight of the most famous feature films directed by Akira Kurosawa, all of them in 35mm copies sent especially from Tokyo.

Gastronomy in CABA: fairs, patios and markets

Sabe la Tierra will be established in the Rosedal of Palermo on Saturday, from 12 to 8 p.m. On Sunday it will be in three different parts of the City: in Plaza Ireland and Parque Saavedra, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and in Parque Las Heras, from 1 p.m. 19. BA Market, for its part, will take place in Parque Chacabuco Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both proposals are suspended in case of rain.

In addition, the patios of Los Lecheros, Parque Patricios, Rodrigo Bueno and Costanera Norte and the markets of Bonpland, Belgrano and San Nicolás offer a wide variety of dishes. Tickets for all proposals are free of charge.

There are eight self-guided tours to enjoy the gastronomy, urban art, shops, emblematic places and green spaces of Buenos Aires.

Mataderos Fair

A place to tour the country through a Gastronomic Patio and a Walk of Crafts and Regional Products, to taste our typical dishes and purchase manufactured products from different regions of the country. It takes place on Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Av. Lisandro de la Torre and Av. de los Corrales.
