The musical “Grimm! The really true story of Little Red Riding Hood and her wolf” was awarded in the Participatory Projects category. The piece was produced by the State Theater with the State Music School.
Children’s Theater celebrated
The other awards went to Vienna. As “Outstanding production for children” the jury chose the piece “Play for time” the Viennese company Freispiel, the division “Outstanding production for young people” The Vienna Theater and the Vorarlberg State Theater were able to win. Felix Pacher was the best actor in the adaptation of the novel “Chick” by Wolfgang Herrndorf at the Vienna State Opera. With the price for “Outstanding music” was Martin Seiwert for “The Dead Class” awarded by Toxic Dreams at WUK. Paul Barritt and the Burgtheaterstudio were responsible for the equipment “More than anything in the world” honored.

This year’s Stella Gala was organized by the Children’s Theater under the direction of Andreas Baumgartner. The municipal theater in Linz also celebrated its 50th anniversary.
