“Broken Vision”, an exhibition that brings together installations by Luis Felipe “Yuyo” Noé, will open on October 14 at the Provincial Museum of Contemporary Art (MAR) in Mar del Plata as the tenth anniversary of that cultural space is celebrated.
Throughout his career, Noé (1933) “has worked his work in relation to the surrounding space, becoming a pioneer of installations since the sixties,” highlighted the exhibition curator, Cecilia Ivanchevich.
The simultaneity of images “allows him to present multiple ways of seeing while proposing aesthetic treatments and questions about the artistic object,” he added. For her career, Noé won the Grand Prize of Honor from the National Fund for the Arts (1997) and the Konex Brillante for the Visual Arts, among other awards.
