Kylie Minogue has been successful in the music business for more than 35 years. She didn’t expect her career to last so long because the Australian pop singer (“Spinning Around”) said she had no career plan. “No, I still don’t have a plan like that,” revealed the 55-year-old, who also has a British passport, to the German Press Agency in London. “I was never a good, capable planner.”
She always has an empty thought bubble about her like in a comic, joked Minogue, who has just released her 16th studio album “Tension”. “I want to keep my options open and be able to go this way and that way. My inability to commit hinders my organizational skills. I never had that foresight.”
Apparently it didn’t hurt her career. This summer she celebrated another top 10 hit after a long time with her single “Padam Padam”.
However, Kylie Minogue has already planned her next project. Starting in November, she will have her own show in the US entertainment metropolis of Las Vegas for several months. “I’ve been offered a series of concerts in Vegas before, but – for whatever reason – I didn’t think it was the right time for me,” revealed the Australian. “But now it’s time for me to do something different. And it’s going to be something different because it’s a very intimate place and it’s not going to be one of these huge Vegas shows.”
