“A lot of things happen.” Halloween is a lot of fun for Christina Aguilera. With a guaranteed spooky factor on different levels.
US singer Christina Aguilera likes to invite people to her place to be spooky on Halloween. She then turned her house into a haunted house and hired special actors for it, the 42-year-old told presenter Jimmy Kimmel. Neighbors would then have to expect “murder cases in the garden” and that things would get a little louder: “A lot of things happen.”
Visitors would get candy, but would also be frightened: “Depending on the age group, you can choose your level of horror, i.e. level 1, level 2, level 3.” How scary their haunted house is for visitors at the highest level of horror depends on “how late in the evening it is” and “how many cocktails people have already had.”
Thanks in part to her childhood memories, Halloween is her “favorite time of the year.” Every year at the end of September, elaborate decorations are put up for the scary night on October 31st, she reported. Then we continue with the decorating: “As soon as Halloween comes around, it’s Christmas.”
As a teenager, Aguilera hosted the “Mickey Mouse Club” on US television alongside Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. She made her breakthrough as a singer in 1999 with “Genie In A Bottle”. At the end of the year she is starting a concert series in Las Vegas.
