Elitethe longest-running series with a Spanish script Netflix, it is coming to its end. Just two days before the premiere of season 7, the streaming platform announced Wednesday on X (ex Twitter) that the teen drama will end with its eighth season.
Elite was renewed for season 8 in July, but at the time there was no mention that it would be the final season.
The next season will feature the newcomer Anne Rot (Killer Book Club) and Nuno Gallego (UPA Next), while Mina el Hammani, who appeared in the first three seasons, reprises the role of Nadia.
