Britney Spears: Does she give interviews about her autobiography on TV?

Many stars like to give interviews about their projects. Will Britney Spears talk about her new autobiography on TV?

When celebrities publish their autobiographies or have new projects coming up, they often go on promotional tours and often give TV interviews. Britney Spears (41) is apparently not taking this step. Her autobiography “The Woman In Me” will be published – also in Germany – on October 24th, but she will apparently not appear on television because of this. This is what I would like to know from those around the singer.

According to the report, Spears does not want to do TV interviews to promote her book. There had previously been rumors that she might have been asked whether she wanted to appear on the long-standing format “60 Minutes” or whether she would speak to talk legend Oprah Winfrey (69). Such a conversation would certainly attract numerous viewers to the screens, but Spears is said to have decided against it. Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42) caused a stir with an Oprah interview in 2021 after they had previously left Great Britain and moved to the USA.

However, he recently gave an interview and talked about “The Woman In Me”. “It’s finally time for me to speak up and speak out – my fans deserve to hear it directly from me. No more conspiracies, no more lies – just me as I imagine my past, present and own the future,” she said.

The thought makes Britney Spears sick

In the book, the singer also writes, among other things, about the guardianship to which she was subject for thirteen long years. She was incapacitated in 2008 and her father, Jamie Spears (71), was appointed as guardian.

“Thirteen years have passed in which I felt like a shadow of myself,” writes the now 41-year-old in an excerpt from “The Woman In Me”. When she now thinks back “that my father and his partners had control over my body and my money for so long, it makes me sick.”

According to Spears, just think about how many of her male colleagues have gambled away their money and struggled with substance abuse or mental health problems. “No one tried to take away their control of their bodies and their money. I didn’t deserve what my family did to me.”
