“Game of Thrones” star Hafthor Björnsson: fatherly joys for the actor

“Der Berg” is happy about another addition to the family. The Icelandic actor and strongman Hafthor Björnsson (34) – known for his role as Gregor Clegane aka “The Mountain” in “Game of Thrones” – and his wife Kelsey Henson (33) are expecting their second child together.

In the photos shared by the couple, the actor poses next to his wife, who is wearing an open white blouse, revealing her baby bump. The couple’s three-year-old son, Stormur, stands before them, holding up ultrasound images and wearing a black T-shirt that says “brother.”

The baby’s gender remains secret

“Life is precious and I couldn’t be happier to announce that our family is getting bigger,” Björnsson wrote alongside the pictures. “Kelsey is 19 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby that we can’t wait!” He also explained that his wife doesn’t want to know the gender of the baby in this pregnancy, “so you all have to wait like me!” also on her Instagram page and wrote, among other things: “We are very happy to announce that Stormur will be a big brother in March!”

In addition to Stormur, Hafthor Björnsson has a daughter from a previous relationship. In September 2020, the series star and his wife, who have been married since 2018, announced that their first child together was born. “Our beautiful baby made his big entry into the world on September 26th, 2020 at 11:19 a.m. after a short and intense six hours. 3530 grams and 52 cm.
