Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton appeared on a red carpet together for the first time since confirming their relationship.
Monica Bellucci (59) and Tim Burton (65) made their first red carpet appearance together since their relationship became known. On Thursday evening, the Italian actress and the American director attended the premiere of the film “Diabolik 3” as part of the Rome Film Festival.
The couple appeared very intimate, sometimes holding hands and putting their arms around each other while posing for the cameras. Burton wore a black suit with a black shirt and black tie. Bellucci chose a figure-hugging gray gown with a crisscross neckline. The Italian can be seen in the role of Altea di Vallenberg in the film.
A couple since the beginning of the year
Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton have been dating for a few months. In June, Bellucci confirmed the relationship. “What can I say… I’m glad I met this man,” she explained. It was “one of those encounters that rarely happen in life.”
The couple is also already working on a film together: “Beetlejuice 2”. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in September 2024. Apparently there was a spark between the two in October 2022 at the Lumière Film Festival in Lyon. However, the two met much earlier: in 2006 at the Cannes Film Festival.
Both have two children
Monica Bellucci separated from her husband Vincent Cassel (56) in 2013. She married the French actor in 1999. The couple have two daughters, Deva (19) and Léonie (13). Tim Burton also brings two children into the relationship: with the British actress Helena Bonham Carter (57) he had son Billy (20) and daughter Nell (15). The relationship lasted from 2001 to 2014. From 1987 to 1991 he was married to the German painter Lena Gieseke (58).
