Mr. Plein, you have made your fashion brand internationally known over the past 25 years. But in Germany you don’t get the same recognition as abroad, right?
I do not think so. The numbers also speak a different language. Germany is our most important single market with sales of over 30 million euros. A few people have already noticed us.
Your company is successful, but you don’t receive as much attention as Karl Lagerfeld, Jil Sander or Wolfgang Joop, who enjoy true cult status. Doesn’t that annoy you?
