Even a few days before Halloween, Heidi Klum (50) doesn’t want to reveal much about her costume for this year’s scary festival. US talk show host Jimmy Fallon was only able to get this much out of her: It would be “gigantic,” the German model said on the “Tonight Show” on Friday evening (local time).
Klum added with a grin that she had to have a few streets closed in Manhattan specifically for this, which was very difficult. Comedian Fallon then speculated that Klum would appear as a giant Transformers robot truck. She swore it wasn’t, Klum countered.
Halloween is on October 31st. Klum, who was born in the Rhineland and is known for hosting the TV show “Germany’s Next Top Model”, hosted her first big scary party in 2000. Many celebrity guests are expected to attend Klum’s Halloween event in New York this time.
Klum completely “obsessed” with Halloween
Klum said on the “Tonight Show” that she was completely “obsessed” with Halloween. She loves transforming into a different character and keeping people guessing. Last year she was a “cute little earthworm,” said Klum about the costume, in which she was very restricted. She couldn’t even move her face. Beneath the ringed “skin” layers, only small slits for the eyes and mouth were free.
The mother of four, who has a reputation as the “Queen of Halloween,” is known for her extremely elaborate costumes. With extensive buttocks and breast prostheses as well as facial pads, she transformed herself into the curvy cartoon character Jessica Rabbit around 2015. In 2018, Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz appeared as the ogre couple Shrek and Fiona. The model has also surprised party guests as a werewolf, an alien or a significantly older version of herself.
