The first winner of the Argentine version of the reality show Big Brother, Marcelo Corazzadetained in a case for corruption of minors, will finally be able to regain freedom in the coming days after the request for release made by his defense received the approval of the prosecution, judicial sources reported.
Corazza will continue to be detained at home with an electric ankle bracelet. The decision was made by the head of the Federal Criminal and Correctional Court No. 4, Ariel Lijo.
The prosecutors had agreed to grant Corazza’s release because they evaluated that he is accused of corruption of minors, in two acts, one of them in ideal competition with obscene exhibitions, and illicit association, “all figures that provide for a minimum sentence of three years in prison ” which would enable a judge or court to “apply a sentence of conditional execution.”
Processing expanded to Corazza
Last week Judge Lijo expanded Corazza’s prosecution for another case of corruption of minors, judicial sources reported.
The magistrate blamed Corazza for another fact for which he had investigated him days ago in the context of the case in which an alleged criminal gang accused of different cases of child abuse is being investigated.
“I consider that Corazza promoted the corruption of the victim, meanwhile, based on his proposals of a depraved nature.began the corruption of the victim, who had never carried out actions of that type for money and had never been sexually involved with another man,” the magistrate said in the ruling of more than 350 pages.
Chat dialogues between the accused and the victim were recorded in the file in which Corazza required him to send personal videos with sexual content, as this media was able to verify.
“As it was confirmed that he knew the age of the victim, I assume that Corazza was aware that the illicit acts he carried out were likely to corrupt her”the magistrate emphasized.
“Since the victim was 17 years old at the time the illicit conduct on the part of the accused began to take place, there is no doubt that she should be admitted as such. On the other hand, as can be seen, evidently the different proposals made by Corazza to the victim were negative for his normal development,” he noted.
