Slow, ballad-like, sentimental – that’s what the new Beatles song sounds like. It was published on Thursday at 3 p.m. The song was produced using artificial intelligence.
John Lennon recorded it with piano in the 1970s. In 1994, his wife Yoko Ono gave the recording with two additional songs to Beatles colleagues Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Two songs were released in 1995, with “Now And Then” the trio failed to separate vocals from piano despite several attempts. The song remained in the archive. Only now has AI been able to isolate John Lennon’s voice. Now McCartney and Starr completed the song; Harrison, who died in 2001, played the guitars in 1995.
