The singer (49) is releasing a Christmas record (yes, actually: a record) and covers, among other things, the song “Last Christmas” by Wham!. “Wham! was one of my favorite bands growing up, and I’ve been a huge George Michael fan for as long as I can remember,” Morissette said in a statement. “Covering this song feels super special and is the perfect way to celebrate the holidays.”

In addition, the singer (“Ironic”, “You Oughta Know”) releases “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, William Chatterton Dix’s “What Child is This?” and “Little Drummer Boy” by Katherine Kennicott Davis, three more Christmas classics in new versions.

All four covers will be released on a limited red and green vinyl record on Friday and will be available on all streaming platforms.
