More than 100 organizations of the cultural economy, leaders, artisans and workers from the different branches of the cultural industries will meet within the framework of the Cultural Economy Congress that will take place from November 10 to 12 at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK).

Through the meetings and thematic tables that will take place on Friday, November 10 and Saturday, November 11 from 2 to 8 p.m., a document will be prepared with recommendations and proposals around ten strategic axes for cultural development based on the contributions made before. and during the meeting by the various chambers, unions, organizations and representatives.

Then, this document – which is expected to bring together around 1,000 management proposals for the future of the cultural economies of our country – will be presented to national authorities at the end of the Congress.
The ten strategic axes that will be addressed during the work tables that will form part of the Congress and which will be debated are the following:
Professionalization: formalize and expand the labor market; Productive development: new instruments to consolidate and enhance cultural production; Circulation of cultural goods and services: strengthen the consumption and distribution of national content; Innovation: develop new capabilities in the face of the exponential leap in the use of digital tools; Intellectual property: new paradigms and tools for the protection of rights; Sustainability and socio-environmental impact: rethink the production and circulation models of goods and services; Memory and transmission of knowledge: cooperation as a growth strategy of the cultural ecosystem; Gender and diversities perspective: reduce existing inequalities; Financing: towards a comprehensive cultural promotion system; State and public policies: value the contribution of culture and increase its centrality in public policy.
Two cultural cooperative fairs will coexist in the dry plaza of the CCK: the “Salta artisanal” fair that celebrates 55 years of the creation of the Salta Artisan Market – the first artisanal market in the country -, and the Cultural Cooperatives fair.
