She will soon be seen on the big screen as Lucy Gray Baird in the prequel “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”: At the European premiere in Berlin on Sunday, leading actress Rachel Zegler (22) paid tribute to her popular predecessor ” The Hunger Games” series with her choice of red carpet gown. In a sleeveless black and red mermaid-style dress, she was reminiscent of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence (33), from the original films.

Zegler was in a good mood with the other main actors on Sunday at the Zoo Palast in the German capital. The 22-year-old wore her long dark hair down, smokey eyes and dark red lipstick ensured glamorous make-up.
Her co-stars Tom Blyth (28), Hunter Schafer (24) and Josh Andrés Rivera (28) also dressed up for the premiere. While the two actors wore a suit with a black T-shirt or turtleneck sweater, Schafer attracted attention in a colorful, glittering midi dress.
In the prequel to “The Hunger Games,” Tom Blyth plays the young Coriolanus Snow, who later becomes the tyrannical president of Panem. He is called upon to mentor young tribute Lucy Gray Baird from impoverished District 12, but falls in love with the charismatic young woman. The blockbuster can be seen in German cinemas from November 16th.
