Seiko, the Japanese watchmaking brand that is identified by the precision it brings to each of its creations, comes to the market with a new diving model belonging to the Prospex collection.

This new series, called “Save the Ocean,” pays tribute to the marine, polar and glacial elements that have shaped the landscapes of the Arctic and Antarctic regions.

This particular model, with its blue dial, is inspired by the design of Seiko’s first diving watch, which was released in 1965. Equipped with the advanced caliber 6R35, this automatic timepiece also allows manual winding and offers an impressive reserve. of 70 hours of operation, which translates into an astonishing accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds per day. Additionally, it features a stop seconds function and a date window located at 3 o’clock.

The 40.5 millimeter stainless steel case and the super hard coated bracelet guarantee the durability and resistance necessary to withstand the most demanding underwater adventures. The bracelet secures with a tri-fold clasp with secure locking and push button release with extender, designed with wearer comfort in mind.

The curved sapphire crystal, with anti-reflective coating on the inside, allows correct readability, even in adverse conditions.

Elegant and sporty at the same time, this watch comes with a unidirectional rotating bezel and screw case back, as well as a screwed crown that ensures the necessary water resistance in a model designed to reach a depth of up to 200 meters.

The hands, indexes and bezel are coated with LumiBrite, ensuring excellent readability in low-light environments, an essential element for diving enthusiasts.
