After the joint podcast ended, Oliver Pocher quickly found a replacement in the form of his ex Sandy Meyer-Wölden. Now Amira Pocher also has a new podcast partner at her side – from her own family.
What happened on the podcast platform Podimo this summer was spectacular: The listeners of the format “Die Pochers!” witnessed the couple announcing their separation in front of a live microphone. Initially, they vowed to remain a podcast couple and continue broadcasting. But the resolution only lasted a few issues, and at the end of October they announced the end of the series – also during the live recording.
For a short time, it looked like Podimo had lost one of the most popular podcasts. But now the tide has turned. The platform could actually emerge as the big winner from the couple’s personal squabbles. Because now that Oliver is continuing the podcast with ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden, there is now even a second production from Pocher.
Amira Pocher gets her brother on board
Ex-wife Amira has also found a replacement partner with whom she will talk about her life on Podimo: her brother Ibrahim, called Hima, who is two years older than her. Podimo announced this on Instagram on Tuesday. “It continues!” says the post published on Tuesday. “We can hardly wait: @amirapocher and her brother Hima together on the podcast microphone.”
As “Bild” reports, Amira also wants to comment on her personal situation in the new podcast. It would be the first time. Pocher has been publicly licking his wounds for weeks and repeatedly backing out his ex. Most recently, he attested to her lack of emotional maturity in an RTL interview with Frauke Ludowig on Sunday. Amira, on the other hand, has so far held back discreetly. That makes the new format quite exciting. According to “Bild”, the two have not yet recorded their debut. The first episode is scheduled for November 14th and will appear every Tuesday.
