Around 35 years after the song was released “Fast Car” the US singer Tracy Chapman (59) received a prize for it. Chapman received the award in the category at the Country Music Awards on Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee “Song of the year”, after country singer Luke Combs covered the ballad.
