Oscar winner Jared Leto (51) climbed the Empire State Building. Wearing a red sports suit, sunglasses and attached to ropes, the actor and singer climbed part of the outer wall at the top of the building, the organizers said.
“This building is a testament to all the things we can do in this world if we put our minds to it,” Leto was quoted as saying. With the campaign, the musician also wanted to announce that he would soon be going on a world tour again with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Leto became famous in the 90s with the series “Welcome to Life”. In 2014, he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film “Dallas Buyers Club.”
