The Buenos Aires spa city of Necochea will host from tomorrow until the 18th of this year the “Settimana della cucina Italiana nel mondo” (Week of Italian Cuisine in the World), an event promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation .
The motto on this occasion is “A tavola con la cucina Italiana: il benessere con gusto” (At the table with Italian cuisine: well-being with taste).
The Honorary Vice Consul of Italy in Argentina, Marina Vázquez Pucillo, highlighted in a statement “this is the 8th edition worldwide and the first time that we are going to do it in Necochea, with the idea that it will remain for years to come. and is a registered trademark of the municipality.”
Vázquez Pucillo said “we have been working together for many months with the people of the municipality, with the idea of promoting Italian food and explaining how it was related to our food.”
The program includes: a masterclass with the presence of an Italian chef that will be broadcast live on the social networks of the Ministry of Tourism, a gastronomic corridor that can be viewed through the website www.necochea.tur.ar, activities in the schools that teach the Italian language in Argentina and a final event in Plaza Dardo Rocha with shows and sales of typical foods.
Meanwhile, “Saturday the 18th closes with an event open to the public in Plaza Dardo Rocha in front of the Municipality at 56 between 59 and 61, where all the Italian regions will be offering typical dishes of Italian cuisine, with the idea that there will be local producers and businesses marketing” he concluded.
