Jürgen Milski presents his start-up Gogglestop in the Christmas special of “The Lions’ Den”.
The Christmas special of “The Lions’ Den” (December 11th, 8:15 p.m., VOX) has a big surprise in store: Entertainer and “Big Brother” legend Jürgen Milski (59) ventures out with his start-up “Gogglestop” into the arena.
Together with his long-time friend and business partner Ralf Kosche, he brought Gogglestop onto the market almost exactly a year ago. A small fin that prevents your ski goggles from slipping off your helmet when you switch from them to your sunglasses.
“No idea at all about sales”
“After we brought the Gogglestop 2022 onto the market and we received nothing but positive feedback from buyers, it was clear to us that we needed a strong sales partner,” explains Milski to spot on news. “We are inventors and founders, but we have, and we openly admit it, no idea at all about sales! And that’s why we decided to apply to ‘The Lion’s Den’.”
Shortly before the pitch, “my business partner and friend Ralf Kosche would have collapsed from nervousness,” laughs the entertainer. Even though he, as an “old television hand,” had already taken part in countless television productions, he was also very excited. The format was “something completely new” for him.
“We actually had a dream lion, but we don’t want to reveal it yet,” the entertainer continues. Milski is also keeping quiet about the pitch itself. He is currently developing the next product together with his partner.
From entertainer to businessman?
Is he finally turning his back on his TV and music career? “Of course you will continue to see me in a variety of TV productions or on the singing stages in Germany and Mallorca,” the entertainer gives the all-clear. But after a total of three years of development, his big focus is now on his start-up.
