The actress and singer Jana Kramer has given birth to her third child. The “One Tree Hill” star gave birth to a son.
The American actress and country singer Jana Kramer (39) has become a mother again. Together with her fiancé, Scottish ex-football professional Allan Russell (42), Kramer welcomed her son Roman James Russell into this world on Monday, November 13, 2023.
The couple said in a statement about the birth: “Allan and I are overjoyed and very grateful for the birth of our son […] to be able to announce. We feel blessed that we had the chance to create something so special together.” The name Roman was not inspired by anyone, it was simply “a strong name.” However, James was chosen consciously and is a reference to both grandfathers of the new parents.
There she posted a photo with Russell and their newborn son. She wrote: “Welcome to the world sweet Roman James Russell. We are blessed beyond measure for this little miracle.” She also announced her son’s birth weight: 6lbs 1oz., the equivalent of around 2.75 kilograms.
Jana Kramer already has two children from a previous marriage
Kramer is already mother to son Jace (4) and daughter Jolie (7), whom she has with her ex-husband, former football professional Mike Caussin (36). The two had been a couple since 2014, married in 2015 and officially divorced in 2021. The relationship with Russell was officially confirmed in January 2023, and the engagement followed in May 2023.
Jana Kramer has often appeared in smaller supporting roles in numerous US series and films for many years. She became known to a larger audience as Alex Dupré in the drama series “One Tree Hill” in 2009. She was last seen in the series “Chicago Fire”. She has also been active as a singer since 2011.
