Homme told the show that nine people he knew had died in the last year and a half, including his former bandmate. QOTSA, Mark Laneganand the drummer Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins.
“I had a little bit of a headache, and I had a little bit of this and a little bit of that,” the musician said. “But I have never learned so much and so quickly. So in the end I’m kind of grateful for all of this, because I feel closer to the things I really love”.

Homme was then asked where he was with his cancer treatment, to which he responded: “I’m fine. I have everything clear”.
Homme revealed in June that he had undergone cancer surgery last year and that it was a success. He did not share any further details about his illness at the time, but said he was “extremely grateful to be able to get through this.”
Homme told ITV News that he now “He feels better than he has all year”and said that his children have helped him during the difficult period.
“It’s okay to be broad and say ‘Dark times are coming,’ but I guess more than ever just I’m trying to find the lightYou know?”.
