The Swedish Crown Princess is a guest in Germany. On Monday, her mother, Queen Silvia of Sweden, wants to open the first childhood home in Hesse together with Prime Minister Boris Rhein.
Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden discussed the connections between Hesse and her home country during a visit to the Rhine-Main area on Friday. The Royal Highness is an “incredibly likeable, open, opinionated and open-minded personality,” said Prime Minister Boris Rhein (CDU) following a meeting in the State Chancellery in Wiesbaden.
The conversation was conducted in German and, in addition to economic and cultural topics, it also covered politics.
The visit took place as part of the Swedish-German Business Day, which, in addition to an economic summit, also includes a gala dinner in the Wiesbaden Kurhaus and the presentation of the Swedish Business Prize. On Monday, Prime Minister Rhine and Queen Silvia of Sweden opened the first Childhood House in Hesse – a child protection facility in Frankfurt.
