Catherine Zeta-Jones (54) and her husband Michael Douglas (79) are celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary and are also sharing it with their fans. The 54-year-old has numerous pictures of couples from the past few years, including private pictures of her wedding.
“Today we celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary,” Zeta-Jones commented on her post. “My dear Michael, your Nobel Peace Prize is waiting for you. I love you… from your beloved wife, who was awarded the Medal of Honor,” jokes the actress. The fans are thrilled and congratulate the couple with numerous comments.
“May our dance never end”
Douglas also shared a photo that shows her dancing at the wedding. “Congratulations on 23 years and I, my dear @catherinezetajones! Can’t wait for it to be 24! Happy anniversary,” he wrote to his wife. It doesn’t take long for Zeta-Jones to respond. “I love you, darling, may our dance never end.”
Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones met and fell in love at the Deauville Film Festival in France in 1998. The two married on November 18, 2000 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Five months earlier, the divorce between Douglas and his ex-wife Diandra Luker (67) became final. Zeta-Jones and Douglas have a son and a daughter together. Douglas also has another son from his first marriage, the actor Cameron Douglas (44).
