Actress Manuela Wisbeck misses her partner on “Celebrity Big Brother”. The women have been happily in a relationship for eight years.
While the encounter between Iris Klein (56) and her husband Peter (56) on “Celebrity Big Brother” late on Monday evening was unexpectedly unspectacular, actress Manuela Wisbeck (40) became emotional in the TV container. She reported how she met her current girlfriend – and how she discovered her homosexuality when she was a teenager.
Tearful farewell
The actress, who is known for “Bad Girls” and “Notruf Hafenkante”, has been with her Karen for eight years. “We met in the classic way over the Internet,” she tells her roommates on “Celebrity Big Brother.” “For gays there used to be GayRomeo – but now it’s called something different – and for women it’s Lesarion.” Karen’s page immediately captivated her: “I could have written what was on her profile.” There was already a lot of spark at the first meeting. “We immediately held hands and from that moment it was clear to us: We were together. That was really true.” It’s also not a problem that her partner has children. It was complicated for the family: “It was difficult for her parents because Karen was married to a man for 18 years.”
It was difficult for the actress to say goodbye to her Karen. Before moving into the TV container, she dedicated it to her friend. “We haven’t spent a single day without each other since 2015 – even if we’ve at least spoken on the phone. It’s going to be strange the next few days. But we’ll manage it, even if there were a few tears when we said goodbye,” she wrote alongside a picture of the couple.
Homosexuality discovered by accident
In the Sat.1 show she also reported how she discovered that she was attracted to women: “I was 16 and fell in love with a man at the time – I thought it was a man. But it was a woman .” But she didn’t know that at first: “She was so masculine and very tomboyish that I thought it was a man. Then we actually got together, but then we broke up relatively quickly.” Because she first said she couldn’t be with a woman, she wasn’t a lesbian. “That was the first upheaval. I grew up in the village. There are only men and women. But then I thought about it and said: ‘Manu, it doesn’t matter and just let it happen.’ And after that I actually only ever fell in love with women and women with me.”
The scene could be seen in the live stream, which “Celebrity Big Brother” fans can use to follow everything that happens in the container on the Joyn Plus+ streaming platform this year. The next live broadcast will be on Tuesday, November 21st, from 8:15 p.m. on Sat.1.
