Social Tourism: how to sign up to go on vacation to Chapadmalal and Córdoba

Embalse has seven hotels and 50 houses with a capacity of close to 3,000 beds.

Social Tourism: who it is aimed at

To all people who travel in Familiar groups or in a way particularwith a maximum of ten members. Stay: 6 nights. Income on days Tuesday.

No fee

• Children up to 3 years old (depending on date of entry to the Tourist Unit).
• Agents and companions included in Decree No. 618/87 (Agents of the national public administration with thirty years or more of seniority).

They pay 50% of the base rate

• Persons and minor children who receive a monthly income less than or equal to 2 Minimum Living and Mobile Wages (retirees, pensioners, beneficiaries of non-contributory pensions, in a dependency relationship, monotributistas, unemployed, holders of social programs, holders of collection of unemployment benefits).
• Holders of Life Pension for South Atlantic War Veterans.
• People with Disabilities and companion.
• Minors from 3 to 9 years old inclusive (depending on the date of entry to the Tourist Unit).

Private place reservation system: what do I need?

• Have an account in My Argentinasince it will be necessary to register on the website of Social Tourism to be able to register.
• Data of the Owner: Name and Last Name, Sex, DNI Number, DNI Processing Number, Date of Birth, Contact Email and Telephone.

In the event that there is more than one member within the same request, the same data that was requested from the owner must be completed, with the addition of specifying the relationship between the owner and the other members.

• It should be noted that if minors travel with their Father/Mother/Guardian, it is necessary to prove the link by attaching the back side of the DNI or birth certificateand if not, you must attach the corresponding authorization.

In the case of requesting the reduced ratecondition must be accredited with:

• Last pay stub or last payment receipt retirements/pensionsor proof of last payment of monotribute/autonomouseither certificate of negativity of contributions from ANSESor proof of benefit/payment from social programs.
• Certificate of disability current.
• Unique Certificate of Malvinas War Veterans.
• DNI or birth certificate of minors 3 to 9 years inclusive.

In the case of requesting the free ratecondition must be accredited with:

• Certificate of 30 years of service.
• DNI or birth certificate of minors 3 years.

Important: all members must present their DNI when entering the Tourist Unit.

Embalse presents complementary buildings for administration, medical service, general services, pavilions for staff, a sports center, swimming pools, beach inns, cafeteria and museum.

How to book? I followed the step by step

• Registration will be done based on a travel calendar. It will have two registration calls for each travel date. The first will be for priority people and the second is for everyone.

Important: priority is considered to be the person who holds the reservation who proves that he or she is eligible for the reduced rate (person with a disability or who earns less than two minimum wages or a former Malvinas combatant) and who has also never previously traveled to the Tourist Units. If the person with a disability is a minor, the reservation holder must indicate that he or she is the companion of a person with a disability.

• Access the calendar and know the registration dates.
• Enter the Social Tourism website.
• To sign up, you will have to register with your Mi Argentina account (Level 3 – with identity validation by biometric data). If you do not yet have a Mi Argentina user, you can generate one from the same login link, in the “Create your account” option.
• Complete the application on the corresponding date.

Please note that registration does not guarantee automatic access to the place. Once the request is uploaded, within the next ten business days you will receive the notification by email confirming or denying the request. If it is rejected, you can see the reasons.

If approved, you will receive the payment order by email. Once received, the maximum period to pay it is 72 hours in a row. In order to guarantee that more people can access the Social Tourism program, only one trip per year per person per plan will be allowed.

In case of need for care or for any query, the Unit offers a medical service that operates 24 hours a day.

How much does it cost to vacation in the Tourist Units?

Chapadmalal/Reservoir

• Hotel A: $4000 | Base rate per day, per person
• Hotel B: $3000 | Base rate per day, per person
• Bungalows (Embalse): $5000 | Base rate per day, per person

Category “A” hotels contemplate a shared bathroom between two rooms. On the other hand, category “B” hotels have shared bathrooms.

During the low season (March-December), for Individual Plan will be enabled only category “A” hotels in both Tourist Units and Bungalows in the Reservoir Tourist Unit.

In Chapadmalal you can carry out a variety of socio-recreational, tourist, sports and cultural activities.

The Bungalows are only available in the Embalse Tourist Unit. There are bungalows with capacity for three/four people and bungalows for five/six people. A bungalow will be reserved by request, with a minimum of three members and a maximum of six.
