“Vikings: Valhalla” the series derived from “Vikings” already has a release date on Netflix

Set 100 years after the original series, Valhalla promises to maintain its blood levels and carnage on behalf of Thor and Odin.

The new series begins 100 years after the end of the original to tell the adventures of the most famous Vikings of all time: Leif Erikson (navigator who was one of the first Europeans to reach North America), Freydís Eiríksdóttir (daughter of Erik the Red), Harald Harada and King William the Conqueror.

Vikings: Valhalla is commanded by Michael Hirst, creator of Vikings. The writing of the scripts corresponds to Jeb Stuart.

The worldwide success of Vikings, an original production of the American signal History caught the attention of Netflix who did everything to stay with this sequel. It will be 24 episodes for the first of what are expected to be many seasons.
