Drunk driving?: Tiffany Haddish arrested in Beverly Hills

Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish (43) was arrested early Friday morning (local time) in Beverly Hills on suspicion of driving under the influence. This was announced by the Beverly Hills Police Department. Police received a call at 5:45 a.m. and Haddish was arrested and taken into custody shortly after, a police spokesman confirmed to the station. Haddish was reported to have performed at the Laugh Factory comedy club’s Thanksgiving bash in West Hollywood on Thursday night.

The actress was not involved in any accidents but is said to have fallen asleep at the wheel. , police were told on the call that a person had stopped on Beverly Drive and was leaning over the steering wheel while the car’s engine was running. Haddish will now apparently be charged with drunk driving.

Georgia incident

The comedian has previously been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and improper stopping on the road. She was apprehended in Georgia by Peachtree City police officers in the early morning of January 14, 2022. According to police, officers received an emergency call around 2:30 a.m. about a driver who had allegedly fallen asleep at the wheel on Highway 74.
