Jada Pinkett Smith recently revealed that she and Will Smith have been separated for a long time. They still celebrated Thanksgiving together.
In October, Jada Pinkett Smith (52) surprisingly revealed that she and Will Smith (55) had been separated for years. Nevertheless, the actress and the Hollywood star, who married in 1997, now celebrated the perfect Thanksgiving together, as both emphasize.
“Best Thanksgiving Ever”
Photos taken by photographer Alan Silfen showing the family at the celebration. In addition to the Smiths, their son Jaden (25) and their daughter Willow (23) can also be seen on it. Also there were Pinkett Smith’s mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris (70) and Will Smith’s mother Caroline Bright. His first wife, Sheree Zampino (56), and their son Trey (31) were also invited.
For Jada Pinkett Smith, it was “a perfect Thanksgiving day,” according to her accompanying comment. “Family, friends, good food, good energy and a space full of love for each other! So grateful,” her mother agrees. Will Smith also shared many of the photos taken on the important US holiday. “Best Thanksgiving ever,” he enthuses.
No secrets, no grudges
Pinkett Smith revealed in October during the release of her book “Worthy” that she and Will Smith had been separated since 2016. “We’re still figuring it out” about the status of their marriage. “We just have a deep love for each other and we’re going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
A little later, an insider said that Jaden and Willow were supposedly relieved that the public now knew about it. “They all want everyone to be true to themselves and to stop holding grudges or keeping secrets,” citing the anonymous source. The two hope that now that everything has come to light, “everyone can heal and eliminate any drama that may still be in their worlds.”
