Banana Split: the infallible recipe

Ingredients

  • bananas
  • a pot of milk cream
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • Strawberries
  • Walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 spoon of sugar
  • Optional: Dulce de leche or chocolate sauce

Preparation:

  1. Whip the cream, which must be very cold, and set aside.
  2. Peel and cut the bananas in half lengthwise and sprinkle with sugar. Grill them for about 30 seconds on each side in a previously buttered non-stick frying pan. Let them cool.
  3. Meanwhile, wash the strawberries or cherries and cut them into squares.
  4. Place the bananas on the plates, the strawberries and decorate with the cream and a scoop of ice cream on top.
  5. Decorate with chopped walnuts, dulce de leche and chocolate sauce.

Strawberry cup with cream

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries
  • A pot of whipping cream
  • Strawberry or red fruit jam
  • Vanilla beans or cookies

Procedure:

  1. Beat the heavy cream, which must be very cold, and set aside.
  2. Wash the strawberries and cut them into slices.
  3. Chop the chosen vanilla beans or cookies.
  4. Intersperse layers of cookies, jam, strawberries and whipped cream in a container until complete.
  5. To finish, sprinkle with cookies on top and decorate with strawberries cut in half.

No-cook pear crumble

Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe pears, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup of oats
  • Chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt

Procedure:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the pears with the lemon juice.
  2. In another bowl, mix the oats, walnuts, honey, melted butter, cinnamon and salt. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Divide the pears among individual bowls or on a platter.
  4. Cover the pears with the oat-walnut mixture.
  5. Store in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before serving so that the crumble can set.

banana ice cream

This recipe is refreshing and ideal for summer that is approaching. You will simply need some bananas, milk, vanilla essence and a blender. Keep in mind: the riper the bananas are, the sweeter the ice cream will be.

Preparation:

  1. Freeze bananas cut into slices for several hours.
  2. Put the slices in a blender along with a little milk and vanilla.
  3. Blend until you obtain a creamy mixture and homogeneous.
  4. Serve the banana ice cream immediately in a glass or compoter.
  5. Tip: Add slices of natural banana and chocolate sauce or dulce de leche.

Chocolate volcano

Ingredients:

  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 100g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 60g sugar
  • 30g flour

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. In a bowl, melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie or in the microwave.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs, yolks and sugar until foamy.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the eggs and sugar mixture.
  5. Add the sifted flour and mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into small, previously buttered individual molds.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are firm but the center is runny.
  8. Ready! Carefully unmold and serve immediately.
