Screenwriter and film and theater director Oscar Barney Finn received the ACE de Oro, the highest award granted by the Association of Entertainment Chroniclers, at the 31st. edition of the awards that took place last night at the Teatro El Nacional.
Barney Finn, who also won the statuette in the Alternative Theater Direction category for “Brutus” and “Marble”, obtained the main recognition at the gala, in which the association chaired by Nora Lafon awarded the best of the 2022-2023 season.
“What the river does”creation of the sisters María and Paula Marull, came to this edition as the most nominated production, with 11 nominations; followed with eight by the musical “Tootsie”with address of Mariano Demaría and protagonist of Nicolas Vazquezwho won the Actor in Comedy shortlist.
