Musician James Blunt would rather be born as an ant in his next life. In his view, humanity is “damned.”
The British musician James Blunt (49) says he is increasingly despairing of humanity. “We only think about our own interests and no one else. We are damned,” Blunt told the German Press Agency.
“I hope in my next life I’ll be born as an ant. At least they work together as a team and look out for each other.”
People wouldn’t be able to do that, says Blunt. “We see this on social media or in the way we kill each other in the name of the same God.”
The pop star (“You’re Beautiful, “Goodbye My Lover”) recently released his seventh album “Who We Used To Be”. In his book “Loosely Based On A Made-Up Story”, the Brit tells anecdotes that he based on his own I embellished and partly invented information.
