On November 5th, American actor Evan Ellingson (1988-2023) was found lifeless in his home in the Californian city of Fontana. The actor, known from the film drama “My Sister’s Life” and the television series “CSI: Miami”, was only 35 years old. The cause of death has now been determined.
Ellingson died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl, according to a spokesman for the coroner’s office. His death was ruled an accident. The actor has repeatedly struggled with drug addiction in recent years. His father also explained this to the US celebrity portal “TMZ” shortly after his death.

Born in 1988, the actor first rose to prominence in the early 2000s. He was seen in his first roles in the comedy show “MADtv” and in the sitcom “Titus”. As a teenager and young adult, the sitcom “Complete Savages” and several episodes of the series “24” followed, among others.
He finally appeared alongside Cameron Diaz (51) and Alec Baldwin (65) in “My Sister’s Life” in 2009 and in several seasons of the crime series “CSI: Miami” as the son of leading actor David Caruso (67). After that, however, Ellingson became quiet on TV and on the screen. Since then he has not appeared in any further roles.
