Vistage Argentina, the network that connects and empowers entrepreneurs who work to improve their leadership and decision-making, held its annual end-of-year gala in which it presented the “Green Sacks” awards to members whose performance They distinguished themselves throughout 2023. The event, which took place on November 24 in the City of Buenos Aires, featured the participation of Sam Reese, CEO Vistage Worldwide; and Ricky Sarkany, as guest speaker, with his talk “Zapatero a tus shoes”.
In the welcome, the CEO of Vistage Argentina, Guadalupe San Martin, expressed: “Today we make up a network of more than 2,400 businessmen. When we talk about entrepreneurs, we talk about successful people, who had an idea and bet on it, they take risks, invest, innovate, create a future, generating employment and wealth. During the “Green Sacks” awards ceremony, Clarisa Casasola She was recognized in the “Triple Impact Vistage 2023” category for her work leading the La Pascana Work Cooperative. More than ten years ago, faced with the unexpected closure of the Palermo restaurant, they made the bold decision to turn it into a cooperative venture. Since then, La Pascana has prospered and continues to attract a large flow of customers.
Meanwhile, the Green Bag for the “Business Career” went to Laura Maffei, a renowned specialist in Clinical Endocrinology, with infinite academic and professional merits, who has left an indelible mark in the field of medicine and research. Her leadership and conviction have made her Medical and Clinical Research Center an entity of prestige and excellence.
In the “Exhibitor” category, the award went to Luis Affranchino, who made more than 25 presentations with a satisfaction level of almost 100%. Affranchino is an expert in finance, with more than 20 years of professional experience.
Andres Nunes, from Estudio Jurídico Nunes & Asociados, was awarded “Key Executive of the Year” for being directly responsible for the growth of the firm of which he is a part. In terms of management, Nunes is the driving force behind the implementation of various methodological tools that allow effective and efficient management.
Stephanie Emily He received the Green Sack in the “Businessman of the Year” category because at only 32 years old, he revolutionized the snacks market with Shiva, a company that sells gluten-free and vegan-friendly products, that is, made from plants. Emili is a chef turned businesswoman, who in the last year achieved growth of more than 70%.
“Corporate of the year” was recognized Roman Malceñido after having taken the organization he leads (Morixe Hnos.) to a next level of performance and achieving a growth in billing of more than 50% year-on-year, and an exponential growth in profitability that exceeds 200%.
On the other hand, Fernando Vidal He was selected as “Number 1”: he created Quento Snacks and in just 9 years he managed to position the company as the third brand in the market. After the delivery of the Green Bags, the meeting closed. “This first year we launched 4 episodes, and each of them revolves around a particular theme and has the participation of Vistage Members, Chairs and Exhibitors in an open and sincere conversation,” said the CEO of Vistage Argentina; and she anticipated that the second season of the podcast will be launched in 2024.
