80% of the teachers who have participated in this cultural exchange are between 25 and 50 years old, although the program admits applicants of all ages, and nearly 50% of the selected teachers travel and settle in the United States. along with their families.
Friendly and fast application process
To date, more than 200 Argentine educators have had the experience of teaching in the United States through the opportunity offered by Participate Learning. To participate in this cultural exchange it is necessary:
- Advanced English level
- At least two years of full-time teaching experience after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in education.
- Be working at the time of applying
- Have the availability to reside in the United States for a minimum period of 2 years up to a maximum of 5 consecutive years.
- Have a valid driver’s license and have completed the vaccination schedule against COVID-19.
From the moment the application is initiated, until the position offer is made by the American school district, about 3 months can pass, then the visa procedures begin, which can take about a month. The teachers chosen and with their visa processed will travel to the United States between June and July 2024, given that the school year in the North American country begins in August and ends in May.
Since 1987, 3,005 Latin American teachers have had the experience of teaching in the United States thanks to this initiative, uniting the world through global education, while growing as professionals and as people.
