Oliver Pocher and his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden chat for the fifth time in their joint podcast. In the current episode it becomes ambiguous. Is there still a spark between the former lovers?
“Who haven’t I fucked yet?” Oliver Pocher asks this question in the intro to the current podcast episode. And the fifth episode of “The Pochers! Freshly Recycled” starts clearly ambiguously. The comedian sits on a vintage armchair with very dynamic suspension. As soon as he is discovered, he jiggles around on the chair and it becomes offensive.
The episode is available as a video podcast and viewers don’t need to imagine it. Pocher sits relatively low and says: “I don’t want to know what kind of sexual intercourse has already taken place in this seat.” Then he enjoys moving in waves on the chair. His ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden, with whom he does the podcast together, already looks irritated and amused at the same time. “Are you doing well! It’s been a while, Olli?” she asks at the ambiguous movement.
Oliver Pocher makes allusions to their sex life as a couple at the time
Pocher replies: “I’ll put it this way, if we had had it back then, we would still be married.” “Triplets!” she replies – the couple has a daughter and twin boys together. “Maybe we would have eight children,” Pocher tops the statement and continues jumping around on the chair.
As the episode progresses, they work through the story of how they met in front of the audience. Thematic focus is on the connection between Oliver Pocher and his ex-wife. His current main topic, the separation from his estranged wife Amira Pocher, finds little space this time. But the 45-year-old can’t resist a swipe this time either.
The two talk about why Sandy Meyer-Wölden eventually became Alessandra, i.e. she was called by her full name. Oliver found the name Sandy to be an “assistant name” and then renamed her. He asks the audience if there is a Sandy hiding there too. When that’s the case, he asks: “Are you single, Sandy?” The woman’s answer: “No.” Then the swipe at Amira, who is said to be having an affair with a man she is said to have met on a flight: “It doesn’t matter, I’ve learned, it doesn’t matter, let’s fly to Bali together, then I’ll have my book with me and Before you know it, I’m touching you, and in a very special way.”
But back to the topic of Sandy and Oliver. The ex-couple reveals that they recorded the last episode of the podcast in Pocher’s bedroom, his gaze freezes, she giggles. “Is there a point to that sentence?” Meyer-Wölden replies: “Well, I haven’t been in your bedroom for a while.”
Both ex-partners are currently single and seem to get along better than ever. Who knows, maybe there will be a love revival at some point, the chemistry between the two still seems to be right – the ambiguity increases from episode to episode.
