Taylor Swift flew from America to London for the premiere of Beyoncé’s concert film – she also adhered to the dress code.
Colleague and superstar Taylor Swift (33) was also present at the premiere of Beyoncé’s (42) new concert film “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” in London on Thursday. Photos show that Swift also adhered to the required dress code – she appeared at the Leicester Square Theater as requested in a glittering, silver dress.
Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour film is a mix of documentary and concert film and was released in cinemas worldwide on December 1st. Similar to Beyoncé’s Coachella documentary “Homecoming” from 2019, it shows both the creative processes behind the acclaimed world tour as well as the stage performance itself and provides insights into the musician’s motivation and hard work.
Taylor Swift flew in from Kansas City
, Swift spent a lot on the premiere – more precisely, over 7,000 kilometers. Accordingly, the “Cruel Summer” interpreter flew to London on a private jet from Kansas City, where she was spending time with her boyfriend Travis Kelce (34), in order to see the film in Great Britain.
However, the support and admiration for each other’s careers is mutual: Beyoncé also appeared at Swift’s concert film premiere “Eras Tour” in Los Angeles in October.
Taylor Swift: Praise for Beyoncé
A great honor for Swift, who shared her enthusiasm for Beyoncé via social media. She wrote on Instagram: “I’m so lucky that I will never know what my life would be like without Beyoncé’s influence. How she taught me and every artist out there to break the rules and redefine the norms of the industry. ” Swift concluded the eulogy by saying, “The fact that she showed up tonight was like a real fairytale.”
Just this week, Swift announced that her concert film for her birthday on December 13th will be available to stream in many countries. In contrast to Beyoncé’s film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” only shows the concert itself and does not include any interviews or behind-the-scenes insights.
