This is the Dutch version of the book Endgame (End of the game), written by the British journalist Omid Scobiewhich was withdrawn from bookstores yesterday after revealing the names of those allegedly involved in the debate over Prince Archie’s skin color, when he was not yet born.

This episode of racism was denounced by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle themselves in an interview with presenter Oprah Winfrey in 2021.when the royal couple revealed the uncomfortable comment without revealing the identity of the author(s).
The couple never revealed the names of the royals who made the racist comments and they are not named in the original English version of this new book.
Given this, the version in the Netherlands was temporarily withdrawn from bookstores due to an “error”, sparking a debate about how the names were included and if there really was a mistake, as publisher Xander Uitgevers claims.
Speaking to the local press, the author insisted that he had never presented a book that included the names of the royals mentioned in the Dutch version and that he could only talk about the English version.
Buckingham Palace’s response to racism accusations
Buckingham Palace, for its part, refused to speak about the allegations.limiting themselves to saying that “it is not something we are going to comment on,” but they are considering going to court.
Famous British television presenter Piers Morgan did mention the names of royals during his show, further exacerbating the controversy.
The author of Endgame denied to the BBC that the identification in the Dutch edition was “a publicity ploy.”
Scobie said that it was “a mistake” and said that “an investigation” has been opened to find out how those names were included in the Dutch edition.
