It starts on Tuesday – Hans Sigl goes on an Advent reading trip. But even after Christmas, things continue for the “Bergdoktor” actor – then back in front of the camera.
After completing filming for the 17th season of the ZDF series “Der Bergdoktor”, actor Hans Sigl (54) is looking for direct contact with the audience – on an Advent reading trip. There is a big difference between standing directly in front of spectators and in front of the television camera, he told the German Press Agency shortly before the planned start of the tour on Tuesday (December 5th) in Fürth.
He could speak to people directly as Hans Sigl and didn’t have the character Martin Gruber or any other role in between.
During the “Bergdoktor” filming he was always on location at the Wilder Kaiser, and now he is looking forward to the tour: “It’s nice, above all it takes me all over Germany – Fürth, Chemnitz, Neusäß, Hanover, Hamburg and then Munich.” On December 22nd there will also be a big Christmas singing in the Munich Olympic Hall.
New Year’s Eve show on ARD
On December 31st he can be seen as the presenter of the ARD New Year’s Eve show at 8:15 p.m. He said he wanted to sweeten people’s last evening of the year. He also wanted the show to bring joy to people who were alone on New Year’s Eve. Co-host is Francine Jordi, guests include OMD, Loona, Vaya Con Dios and Mark Keller, Sigl’s colleague from the “Bergdoktor” series.
According to the broadcaster, the new season of the successful ZDF series starts on January 4th. Eight episodes have been filmed for the 17th season. The actors Heiko Ruprecht, Monika Baumgartner and Ronja Forcher are there again as the Gruber family.
