The band of Brendan Yates (frontman, keyboards and percussion), Pat McCrory (guitar, backing vocals), Franz Lyons (bass, percussion, backing vocals) and Daniel Fang (drums and backing vocals) has managed to expand the hardcore fan base far beyond any other band by moving against the grain of the most fashionable genres and what algorithms would suggest. The bet of the quintet from Baltimore, United States, was precisely to open a new chapter in the history of the genre: with Turnstilepunk evolves by transgressing the boundaries of the genre and drinking from the waters of experimental pop, soul, R&B and even dance music.
With three studio albums of excellent critical reception that aroused more and more fury among fans, Turnstile comes from 2023 where they reimagined some songs from Glow On (their 2021 album) together with Badbadnotgood in New Hearts Designs, an exquisite EP that they accompanied with a video clip directed by Alex Henery full of material filmed live, ideal for warming up the engines of what will be experienced in Vorterix.
The international tour that brings them will find them, in addition to Buenos Aires, in different cities in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Chile. Unmissable event for rock lovers: it is the opportunity to see one of its greatest current exponents, an unpredictable, original formulation with a unique energy.
