Alloweda new theatrical comedy based on the hit film by Ariel Winograd, arrives at Paseo La Plaza in January. This work has been brought to theatrical language by the talented Nelson Valente and will be deployed under the direction of Peto Menahem.
Heading the cast are Mike Chouhy and Rocio Igarzabal, who will give life to the main couple, Camila and Mateo. Accompanying them in this story full of unexpected turns, we have Sofia “Jujuy” Jiménez and Juan Sorini, who will play the roles of the “allowed ones.” They complete this cast Paula Staffolani, Abril Suliansky and Agustín Vidal Rossi.
What Permitted is about
Camila and Mateo, a couple in love who share a deep connection, find themselves at an unexpected crossroads when, during a dinner with friends, intriguing conversations about who is “allowed” arise. In a seemingly harmless game, both reveal who are the celebrities with whom they could have a permissible meeting that would give free rein to all their fantasies. Of course, in their real lives, that would be impossible since those people are unattainable. Or not so much? Destiny will take a surprising turn when Mateo accidentally crosses paths with his “allowed” one: the figure who had been first on his list of unattainable wishes. What begins as a chance encounter with his platonic muse becomes an experience that tests the foundations of his relationship with Camila and will lead them both to question everything they have built together. “PERMITTED” is a comedy that explores the complexity of relationshipsrepressed desires and human vulnerability in a world where temptations are at hand.
