The renowned Mar del Plata chef Fran Rosat, who has experience, tradition and a journey dedicated to preparing dishes with seafood, partnered with La Parolaccia and, together, they opened a branch of Mare By Fran, in Puerto Madero, a few months ago .
The place is, from the setting, a space that immerses you in the marine world: with fish tanks and turquoise tiles, there is an invitation to the comfort and peace that the ocean produces. At this time of year, the star will be the external part, where you can enjoy the flavors of the sea and the view of the river.
We cannot fail to highlight the selection of top-of-the-line products in terms of raw materials, since Rosat has a portfolio of suppliers from the Argentine coast. The menu offers varieties of fish, such as hake, haddock or corvina, and seafood. And also, preparations with red tuna, squid, octopus, squid, scallops and mussels. But you can’t overlook the dishes that combine seafood and pasta, a contribution from its partner, La Parolaccia.

Some of the recommended dishes are grilled squid with field potatoes and caramelized onion. From the raw section, the bluefin tuna tartare with avocado cream, lime and Mare sauce is a great option to enhance the tastes. The sea barbecue allows you to try different varieties of fish, each with the ideal cooking.
As for the pastas, which are made at home or with dried Italian pasta, the fusillis with chistorra mussels and saffron are among the favorite fusions. It is also possible to find risottos, such as the one that combines frutti di mare or chiripones, prawns and lemon zest. All accompanied with a selection of wines of the same level, to pair with each dish.
Without a doubt, this place, which combines tradition and innovation, offers a complete experience for demanding palates, while inviting you to relax and feel like you are on vacation.
